Award For Emerging Talent

The Ninette de Valois Trust Fund AWARD
This award is made to classical ballet choreographers who show outstanding promise, but are not quite ready for their works to be performed by the major classical ballet companies. The award is funded by the Ninette de Valois Trust Fund Charity, under the administration of the Vic Wells Association. The award of £1,500 is to be used to study the arts in the widest sense, and in particular to study other artistic influences such as painting, music, architecture and theatre.
The award for emerging talent is open to promising choreographers from the Royal Ballet, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the English National Ballet, Scottish Ballet, the Rambert Dance Company, and their principal feeder schools.
